Supporters of President Trump’s executive order regarding travel ban on citizens of seven Muslim countries find nothing wrong in the move because the US President gets intelligence briefings in this regard on a daily basis. The H-1B visa regulations are being made stringent to reduce any abuse or fraud, and not with any other intention. The US faces a huge deficit of IT personnel so it would continue to have people from this industry. However, US citizens would get the first preference in jobs. For Pakistan to escape travel ban similar to the 7 other Muslim countries, it should stop all its terrorist breeding, sponsoring activities and wage a credible offensive against radical Islamic terrorists. It has vitiated entire South Asia already, and shows no intent of stopping. Being a hardcore businessman, Trump is an ultimate negotiator and would negotiate all deals that the US deserves. He would try and ensure that no international treaties and agreements adversely affect US interests. His policies would be favourable for Indian-Americans, and the Indo-US ties are likely to be even stronger during the Trump regime. He would bring better times for America.
